Additionally, Brain Calm contains Passion flower, which is used traditionally in Herbal Medicine as a sleep aid, especially in times of restlessness or sleeplessness due to mental stress. Plant compounds of Passion flower exert effects in the brain by binding to GABA receptors, promoting a relaxation effect similar to GABA itself. By reducing feelings of anxiousness and stress, randomized control trials have found that Passion flower improves overall sleep quality.

Recommended Use

Contraindications
Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients including pancreatic enzymes or to pork proteins.
Caution
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking any medications (especially anti-anxiety or blood pressure medication) or if you have any pre-existing condition or symptoms including but not limited to pregnancy, breastfeeding, or have epilepsy. Consult your healthcare practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks or if symptoms persist or worsen. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Discontinue 2 weeks prior to any scheduled surgery.
