Used in traditional Chinese medicine to invigorate and harmonize/tonify the blood. Angelica sinensis, commonly known as dong quai or female ginseng, is a herb belonging to the family Apiaceae, indigenous to China.

Dong quai is commonly taken by mouth for menopausal symptoms, menstrual cycle conditions such as migraines and many other conditions.

Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.

Allergens

Contains No Added: wheat, yeast, gluten, artificial colouring or flavouring or dairy.

Recommended Use

Adult Women (19+): Take 9 capsules daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV), or UV therapy. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not use this product if you are pregnant; if you have allergy/hypersensitivity to members of the Apiaceae/Umbelliferae family (anise, caraway, carrot, celery, dill, parsley); if you have diarrhea or haemorrhagic diseases; or if you have hypermenorrhoea/profuse menstrual flow/heavy periods.

Caution

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking any *medications, breastfeeding or if you have any pre-existing condition including but not limited to diabetes. Discontinue this product 2 weeks prior to surgery.

Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if menstruation is delayed or absent, or if you experience increased menstrual bleeding time. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are breast-feeding, if you are taking birth control pills, if you are taking blood thinners / anticoagulants, if you are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT), or if you have family history of cancer.

Other drugs may interact with this product, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.

Side Effect Risks

Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist, worsen or you develop any reactions which may include: allergy or intolerance, breast pain, discomfort and/or tenderness.  

May cause fertility. May cause sensitivity (i.e. allergy), nausea, diarrhea, or other gastrointestinal symptoms occur.

Keep out of reach of children. Sealed for your protection. Do not use if seal is broken. For freshness, store in a cool, dry place.
