Source of an amino acid involved in muscle protein synthesis. L-tyrosine supports stress management, performance during prolonged duration, enhances cognition and alertness during multitasking and sleep deprivation.

  • Brain & Mood: Tyrosine is the precursor for the neurotransmitters such as epinephrine, and norepinephrine, which are essential for mood, cognitive function and central nervous system function.1-4
  • Altitude: The most prevalent usage for supplemental tyrosine appears to be the enhancement of cognitive function and alertness under conditions of environmental stress such as sleep deprivation, multi-tasking in the workplace, and functioning at high altitudes and/or cold temperatures. It is noteworthy to mention that a high percentage of the studies done on tyrosine are conducted by the military looking to enhance focus and attention in their personnel.
  • ADD: Clinical trials with tyrosine have also been conducted with respect to attention deficit disorder (ADD).5,6
  • Other: Tyrosine is also the precursor for the formation of thyroid hormones as well as melanin, the skin and hair pigment.

Non Medicinal Ingredients

Vegetable magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and silicon dioxide in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.

Allergens

Contains No Added: wheat, yeast, gluten, artificial colouring or flavouring.

Recommended Use

Adults (19+): Take 1–2 capsules once daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner. For occasional use only.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients;  pregnant or breast feeding nad or have a genetic metabolic disorder phenylketonuria (PKU)

Caution

Other drugs may interact with this product, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.

Discontinue use and consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist, worsen or you develop any reactions which may include: allergy or intolerance or digestive upset (constipation, nausea).
