Silymarin acts as an antioxidant and stabilizes cell membranes. Secondly, silymarin, curcumin, and alpha‑lipoic acid upregulate conjugation reactions, facilitating the safe elimination of toxins.
Finally, in addition to hepatoprotective and cholagogue effects, herbs such as Silybum, Taraxacum, and oriental radish have mild laxative effects. This means they promote bowel regularity to ensure efficient bowel elimination of the toxins that the liver has already processed and excreted into the bile.
